Imperial Stag

500mL – Semi-Sweet – 7.9% ABV, (2.6% Residual Sugar, 9 grams per 12oz)

A lightly carbonated modern semi-sweet cider using Bucktail’s signature Land Locked dry, back sweetened with Bucktail’s version of an ice cider creating our Glacial Blend Series.  Apples are freshly pressed from local Pocono orchards using the farmers blends and freeze concentrated to capture all the apple essence.  One gallon of concentrated juice is made from every five gallons of fresh apple juice.  We ferment the apple concentrate with a neutral yeast to make sure all the apple flavor is maintained in the final product.  This produces a 12-13% ABV cider with the same sweetness as unfermented apple juice.  Delicious on its own, but when blended with Land Locked it creates a more complex cider with hints of baked apples and apricot.  Labor intensive but truly worth every sip.
